Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of blindness in the Western world. The 2RT Therapy provided a non-invasive and painless solution to this problem.
2RT, the Regenerative Therapy for Retinal Disorders, is a non-invasive painless treatment that can be used even at the early stages of dry AMD. The use of the 2RT laser stimulates a natural biological healing response on the retina, which in its turn initiates the regeneration process.
The early stage of dry AMD can finally be treated with the 2RT™ laser manufactured by the Australian company Ellex. The ultra-short nanosecond pulse laser has been developed in close cooperation with London's Moorfields Eye Hospital, which is one of the world's most recognized eye clinics.
